The Best, Brightest from USC Chosen for Global Summit
Three University of South Carolina Students have been chosen to attend the bringing home the World Home summit London, United Kingdom.
Washington D.C. (PRWEB) November 26, 2006 -- University of South Carolina students Solvin Mathew, Harry Culp and Osama Nashat have been given Young Global Leader scholarships to attend the Bringing the World Home summit in London,United Kingdom. These scholarships were given by the Americans for Informed Democracy organization.
These top notch young global leaders will be attending workshops, discussions and lectures revolving around the theme of "The Next Generation of Global Partners." This year's summit will take place from November 24-26, at Syracuse University's Centre in downtown London.
Notable speakers scheduled to speak at this summit include Stephen Powell, Founder, Gaia Coach Institute, Simon Burall, Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute, and Simon Cox, Economics Correspondent, The Economist.
Americans for Informed Democracy (AID) is a non-partisan organization shows the world to one and all through programs on more than 1000 U.S. university campuses and in more than 10 countries. AID seeks to create young globally conscious leaders who can make a difference in the world by appropriately shaping U.S. foreign policy.
Solvin Mathew also works as an intern for the China Support Network.
