Kula Yoga Project Celebrates Recent Expansion with a 'Baby it's Cold Outside, but Warm in Here' Winter Special

Tribeca Yoga Studio expands space to include even more primetime classes; monthly unlimited specials kick it off.

New York, NY (PRWEB) November 29, 2006 -- Kula Yoga Project, a vinyasa studio in downtown Manhattan, today announced the opening of an additional space in its Tribeca studio. To the delight of dedicated Kulis and yoga newbies, the newly expanded studio will offer more prime time classes as well as a schedule of beginner/intermediate classes and workshops starting December 1st. Now even more New York yogis can experience Kula's signature style of Freestyle Vinyasa yoga: sweaty, intelligent and ecstatic. To celebrate this milestone, and put a little heat in your winter, Kula is offering "Baby it's Cold Outside, but Warm in Here" special on its monthly unlimited packages. Nothing beats the winter blues like a good schvitz!

Although normally $175 a month, from December through February, monthly unlimited class prices will be as follows:

 
  • 1 month unlimited: $150
  • 2 month unlimited: $275
  • 3 month unlimited: $375
  • (new students can always enjoy the 3 classes for $10 special)

Alison will have several classes in the new schedule, and will also be leading her Yoga Union teacher training program. About Alison West

Alison West, Ph.D.,is known for her dynamic and precise instruction, coming from both backgrounds of Iyengar and Astanga yoga. Her first training was under the aegis of the Sivandanda organization where she completed both the Teacher Training and Advanced Teacher Training Courses. She then studied with senior Iyengar teachers Kevin Gardiner and Mary Dunn, as well as other leading Iyengar teachers Genny Kapuler, Bobby Clennell and Robin Janis, as well as Astanga yoga with Sri K. Patthabi Jois in Mysore and with Eddie Stern in New York. Alison spent September 2004 in Pune, India, studying at the Iyengar Institute and apprenticing in the medical classes with BKS Iyengar, Geeta Iyengar and Stephanie Quirk. She has been teaching in New York since 1988 and gives workshops around the country and in Europe.
