The Brooke Trace Gallery and the Toys in the Sun Run will host its annual event benefiting the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation on Friday, Dec. 8 from 6-10 p.m. The event takes place at 1098 NE 45th Street (Floranada Avenue.) The artists will feature the talents of illustrator, muralist and a special live body painting exhibition by Rob Robi. Other talented artists will include Francesco Alessandro Anciani, Tim Otte, Brooke Trace, Tripp Harrison, Mike Turner, Max Gold, Ashton Howard, John Bowen, Jeff Shulman, Picasso, Salvador Dali, and Peter Max.
Renowned artist Robi will be showcasing his talents on a live model during the Gallery Opening Event. This is a provocative and entertaining demonstration of art meets flesh. Robi is currently painting a mural at DiMaggio Children's Hospital. He has several designs for a mural at the Brooke Trace Gallery. The designs will be on display during this event and the guests can vote for their favorite design.
The event will be catered and there will be live entertainment. There will also be a great selection of silent auction items donated by the gallery and local sponsoring businesses that would make excellent holiday gifts. The public is invited to enjoy an evening of art and entertainment. A small donation is requested at the door.
We are proud of our silent auction sponsors: Fort Lauderdale Harley Davidson, Bobby Rodriguez Productions, Renaissance Festival, Allied Kitchen & Bath, Fort Lauderdale Harley Davidson, Chef's Table, Fishing Headquarters, Merriweather Resort, Bravo Ristorante, Family Pet Medical, Pro Dive, Himmarshee Bar & Grille, Elite Spa & Salon, Cafe Blue Fish, Bonefish Restaurant, Colin & Sas Christian, Minuteman Press, Bobby B' s "Boss" HRLY'S, and Center For Optimal Health.
The Brooke Trace Gallery hosts its gallery events and exhibit openings on the second Friday of every month. Each event features new artist exhibitions and art from classic and modern masters, ranging from the fine art of Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Peter Max and others to the latest works by Max Gold and many others of The Brooke Trace Gallery's Featured Artists. Events have included featured artists meet and greet, and eclectic live entertainment from musical performances, cultural dance performances to live body painting art.
