New York, NY (PRWEB) November 29, 2006 -- The BLEU Magazine, the most talked about urban alternative lifestyle publication, will make history for its community with the release of its 2nd issue. The Fashion Issue of The BLEU Magazine will pay homage to World Aids Day, by going from BLEU to RED. The slogan simply reads, "BLEU goes RED". "The idea of using a red logo was inspired by the 25th Anniversary of HIV/AIDS. From the red ribbon which is used to show support for people who have died from the pandemic to the recent Red campaign developed by Bobby Schriver and Bono, it's time to fight and get active. BLEU targets young African American gay men and their friends, we wanted to address this issue in an empowering way. Our red logo is a wake-up call", says Devon Christopher, Founder and Publisher of The BLEU Magazine. "BLEU goes RED", hits newstands on Friday, December 1, 2006.

BLEU delivers a unique editorial mix bridging the gap between hip-hop culture and mainstream media by addressing the social, economic, and progressive issues facing the urban gay community. In this issue, we get a chance to "get in bed" with our cover girl and co-star of the new Emilio Estevez feature ensemble film "Bobby", actress Joy Bryant. While "in bed", Joy reveals her bedroom secrets to renowned writer Brian Keith Jackson, author of The Queen of Harlem. Also in this issue, we get an inside look at "Happy Birthday to HIV/AIDS - 25 Years Later", as the Editor in Chief of The BLEU Magazine, George Kevin Jordan, recaps the progress of the disease and its' effect on the black gay community.

No Fashion Issue can be complete without a "liberating" fashion-spread; we get to play dress up with the very talented and beautiful, MYA. She gives us the 411 on her new album "Liberation", out in the beginning of 2007. The "Women We Love" section features our first time check-in with our "when I was a kid girlfriend", Keisha Knight-Pulliam. It explains why we love the best friend to Oprah and "angel on earth", Gayle King. And BLEU also give you "their view" on Star Jones, after "The View".
