This weekend, auctioneer Randall Hill is offering a thousand new-in-box model train engines and cars, over 1,800 model kit airplanes, cars, trucks, tanks and accessories to charity-minded Santas with big hearts. Smaller toy items will be sold in lots, so if you have always wanted to be Santa, you have a chance to buy a sleigh full of toys for a children's home or other children's charity. Other Christmas gifts like a big screen TV, hot tub, riding lawnmower, or tanning bed are also being offered for budget-minded shoppers.
Also in the sale are a side-by-side refrigerator, pool tables, commercial video games, a 20' inboard/outboard ski boat, a mobile home log cabin, a washer and dryer set, Harley windshields, gooseneck trailers, shop equipment, a large wooden patio deck (you disassemble & move), train, hunting and shooting books and hundreds of other items on someone's Christmas list. Even if the list includes a "new" truck, they are offering a 1996, 1999 and 2001 Ford dually crew cab pickups.
"Folks can come out, find super gifts at a bargain price and have great fun at the same time," said Randall Hill, auctioneer. "We have new hobby items and previously-owned specialty items so there is something for everyone's budget." There are 300-400 new steam or diesel HO scale engines, 300-400 passenger and freight cars, building kits, track, switches and 30-40 hand-painted, highly detailed engines. Makers include Athearn, Stewart, Riverossi.
Create a joyful holiday experience for both yourself and others by attending the auction this Sunday. Items can be previewed on Saturday from 12-4 p.m. or on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Phone bids are welcome with advance registration.
