Demand for Price Management Solutions Drives Vendavo Global Management Team Expansion

Company strengthens leadership position in industrial manufacturing, high technology and chemicals.

Vendavo, the leading provider of business to business price management solutions, today announced that the company is expanding its European and North American operations, as well as its global management team, to meet strong customer demand worldwide.

Vendavo continues to consolidate its leadership positions in the industrial manufacturing, high technology and chemical industries, and to extend its reach into additional business to business markets, including consumer products, distribution and mill products. Today, Vendavo's software suite is the price management solution of choice in more than 100 client divisions at leading companies throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

To ensure the highest standards of implementation worldwide as the company serves its growing customer base, Vendavo has expanded its Global Solutions Delivery organization. This group, which includes professionals in the United States, Asia and Europe, ensures that each customer's deployment is consistent, swift and cost-efficient, and that Vendavo's broad base of implementation partners have extensive support resources at their disposal. Jennifer Maul has been promoted to senior vice president of Global Solutions Delivery, overseeing worldwide responsibilities for the group.

In Europe, Marcin Cichon has joined the company as vice president and general manager, Europe. He joins Vendavo from Ariba, a leading spend management solutions provider, where he served as vice president and general manager of Ariba Consulting EMEA. Mr. Cichon succeeds Pierre Schmit, who has stepped down from his position for personal reasons. "I want to personally thank Pierre for the valuable contributions he has made toward the success of our business in Europe," said Al Crites, president and chief executive officer of Vendavo. "He helped us establish offices in London and Geneva, and has been instrumental in forging strong relationships in this important region of the world. We wish him the very best."

Vendavo also expanded its North American organization, creating a new group to exclusively serve customers who run SAP, and another to focus on customers running Oracle and other enterprise and legacy systems. Chris Causey joins Vendavo from Sabrix, Inc., a provider of enterprise transaction tax software, to assume the newly-created position of vice president, channel sales. In this role, Mr. Causey and his team work closely with SAP, which sources its pricing solution from Vendavo, to advance joint sales initiatives across the region. Sean Murphy, previously vice president of strategic market initiatives, will serve as vice president, North America. With more than five years of experience at Vendavo, and deep product and industry knowledge, Mr. Murphy is responsible for customers that run Oracle and other enterprise and legacy systems.
