Hubcaps.com Embraces the Baldy View Regional Occupational Program (ROP)

Hubcaps.com participates in the Baldy View Regional Occupational Program (ROP) and helps to offer career training opportunities to High School students. This program supplies students with the job skills they'll need whether starting their career right out of High School or going on to College.

Chino, CA (PRWEB) December 2, 2006 -- Hubcaps.com participates in the Baldy View Regional Occupational Program (ROP) to help students learn vital life skills.

Here at Hubcaps.com, we are so excited to be partnered with the ROP. The ROP is a California public school agency that provides career technical education programs and services. ROP classes are held at various training locations such as high schools, community colleges, private businesses, individual sites, and community facilities. ROP provides students an opportunity to experience a realistic working environment in cooperation with local business and industry.

Working at Hubcaps.com has opened my eyes to career possiblities for the future

Approximately 4 years ago, Hubcaps.com was approached by Mr. Richard Brodeur of the ROP. He asked if we would be interested in helping local students with career training opportunities by providing on-the-job training. We agreed and we have been nothing but pleased with this incredible life skills program.

In his Warehouse Distribution class, Mr. Brodeur teaches the students how to look for a job, how to apply for the job and the skills for getting the job. The students then come to work for us and their grade is based on their participation at Hubcaps.com. Randy Plata is our latest student from Mr. Brodeur's class and he is doing such an excellent job that we've hired him here permanently.

Randy prepares hubcaps and wheelcovers, pulls hub caps, packages the orders, ships and receives hub cap orders and also helped to unload our last shipment of over 7,000 wheel covers, hub caps and center caps.
