Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) December 1, 2006
The American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) turned to The Election Trust when it decided to offer its membership the choice of casting an electronic or a paper ballot in this year's Officers & Bylaw election.
"The Election Trust executed secure and easy Web Balloting as well as an efficient on-request paper ballot system that allowed our members to choose their preferred method of voting. Over 50 percent chose to cast their ballot online," said APNA Executive Director Nick Croce. "We look forward to working with The Election Trust again in 2007."
John Bodin, Managing Partner of The Election Trust, wasn't surprised at the acceptance of online balloting by a majority of APNA voters. "We are pleased each time a client comes to realize the next generation of association balloting is here ... and it's online." Bodin concluded, "Membership organizations are beginning to appreciate the overall cost savings when migrating their elections off paper and online."
