Business Improvement Solutions Inc. will host the first annual Executive Challenge in Edmonton, Alberta. All profits from the event, taking place in the spring, will go towards the new Retailing School of Business at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
Sherwood Park, Alberta (PRWEB) December 20, 2006 -- Business Improvement Solutions Inc. will host the first Executive Challenge in Edmonton, Alberta, this coming spring.
As part of their mission to support local communities, leading Canadian consulting firm, Business Improvement Solutions Inc., has organized a fundraising event for the new Retailing School of Business at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
The Executive Challenge will offer young executives the opportunity to win $15,000 in prizes, as they articulate their solutions to current challenges in today's market place applying tactics for leadership development and sales training. A team of senior professionals will judge the participants, rating them on self-confidence, credibility, validity of their ideas and the success of their solutions.
All profits from the event will be donated to the University of Alberta.
Working with universities, Business Improvement Solutions Inc. plans to make this fundraiser challenge an annual event in other cities across Canada as well, including Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal. Profits from the Executive Challenge in these cities will be split between the university and its School of Business.
Seminars are given by specialists from the consulting firm to provide an introduction to an array of career opportunities, the importance of a lifelong dedication to integrity, discipline, kindness, and learning. Leadership development and sales training will also be explored. These free seminars will be given at local schools, colleges, and universities in conjunction with the Executive Challenge.
