Provident Security Named One of the 25 Best Places to Work in British Columbia

Provident Security was named as on of the 25 best companies to work for in BC by BC Business Magazine and Watson Wyatt Worldwide in their annual survey. Provident was the only security firm that made the list.

VANCOUVER,BC (PRWEB) December 2, 2006 -- Provident Security & Event Management Corp. ("Provident") is pleased to announce that it has been named one of the 25 Best places to work in British Columbia by Watson Wyatt Worldwide and BC Business Magazine.

This was the first time that Provident has been named to the list and was the only security company honored. Other recipients included 1-800-Got-Junk?, Aritzia, Flight Centre and Deloitte & Touche.

"This award is by far the most meaningful award we have ever received," said Provident President, Michael Jagger "Provident has been recognized in the past for other business awards, but this is the first time that we have been recognized by our own employees as being a great place to work."

"One of the most challenging aspects of managing a security company is that our team members are not all in one place. Our people work around the clock and throughout a wide geographic area," said Ryder Lefurgy, Provident's Development Coordinator, "this award is a testament to the amount of effort that we have put in to help ensure that all of our team members feel connected and engaged with Provident, irrespective of where their shift actually happens. It is a great feeling to be recognized like this by our own employees."

About the Award

The rankings were determined by an anonymous survey of employees conducted by Watson Wyatt Worldwide and BC Business Magazine.
