CitiApartments Supports Hope for the Holidays (MUMC)

Community decorating for the holidays.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) December 6, 2006 -- This holiday season CitiApartments along with the other MUMC (Merchants of Upper Market & Castro) members are decorating for the holidays. To show its support for its community, CitiApartments, the fastest-growing housing provider in San Francisco, recently became a member of MUMC, an organization that consists of over 200 local businesses, supporting a mix of merchants, restaurants and services.

MUMC's holiday promotion theme this year is "Hope for the Holidays," with a design theme of white lights and copper and dark blue decorations. The 49 palm trees on Market Street will be decorated with cooper ribbons and bows and the 25-foot holiday tree at Milk Plaza will feature mini lights in clear, frosted and copper bulbs and beautiful ornaments.

With so much creativity among the neighbors and merchants, there will be a Design Competition that any resident or business can enter. Grand Prize Gift Baskets and Framed Certificates will be awarded to the Top Design in two categories: Resident & Business. Weather or not you enter the Design Competition, all neighbors and businesses are encouraged to use white lights to unify the neighborhood with a Village of Lights feel, starting Wed, Nov. 29.
