On November 16th, 2006, Baeble Media LLC announced the launch of its flagship property: Baeble Music (http://www.BaebleMusic.com). Baeble Music is a destination site for music enthusiasts, combining streaming video footage and full-length concert downloads with the community aspects of a social networking site.

Baeble develops quality branded entertainment by offering professionally-produced videos for downloading and free viewing. The exciting new website features fully-licensed, proprietary programming that enables those from outside the nation’s largest markets to gain a sneak peek into the thriving indie music scene.

Currently, Baeble Music features a growing collection of concerts filmed at such New York venues as The Bowery Ballroom, Tonic, The Knitting Factory, and plans are in the works to expand to additional US markets like Los Angeles and Chicago. These high-quality videos feature some of the country’s hottest up-and-coming bands, from indie-rock groups to heavy metal, Americana, experimental, and pop bands. Users can visit the Baeble site and view one track from each show in free streaming format. They can also purchase the entire show as a DVD or high-resolution download. Finally, Baeble Music builds personal pages for every band. These pages include original bios, personalized show reviews, compiled press quotes, pictures, and discographies. Users may leave comments, recommend the video to others, and create a dialogue about the music.

Baeble Music was founded by Rory Maher, founder of the successful NYC nightclub Rothko, and David Moffly, former Chief Executive and Chairman of Creatas/Dynamics Graphics Group. The two entrepreneurs share the goal of creating high-quality entertainment by promoting and showcasing the nation’s best up-and-coming bands.

“We believe that over the next 5-10 years, the distribution of quality broadcast content will shift from primarily Broadcast TV, Cable, and Satellite TV to Internet Protocol Television Networks (IPTV) viewed on computers, televisions, and mobile media players,” said Mr. Maher. “Music is a logical flagship vertical, in our opinion, and we expect to expand into other enthusiast media in the future.”

Maher and Moffly plan to quickly expand Baeble Music beyond the New York market. As the website grows, it will begin featuring concerts filmed at prominent venues in Los Angeles, Chicago, and other major cities. Bands will receive invaluable exposure, and fans will get virtual front-row tickets to some of the best shows around.
