The Avantis unit of Invensys Process Systems today announced that it has developed a new business system integration module for the Avantis.PRO enterprise asset management (EAM) software application. The new module, developed in conjunction with Microsoft, will provide standard integration between Avantis.PRO R4.1 and Microsoft® Dynamics™ AX Release 4.0 and Microsoft Dynamics GP Professional 9.0 business management applications. (Formerly Microsoft Axapta and Microsoft Great Plains) When available early in 2007, this important addition to the Avantis integration suite will eliminate much of the time and effort typically involved with integrating appropriate information from plant asset management systems into enterprise-level financial applications.
