Created by Skyline Music President Bruce Houghton and run by Skyline Innovations Director Erin Smith, the company will serve to create and provide affordable, personalized marketing services to a variety of touring artists, including those not on Skyline Music's exclusive roster.

Skyline Innovations will work with clients in a variety of areas including public relations and tour marketing as well as the design and creation of physical and digital marketing materials. A specific digital marketing division assists artists in their marketing efforts utilizing social networking sites, ringtones and inventive web sites in order to encourage the growth and continuity of fan relationships.
"The old methods don't work anymore, but the internet has created a multitude of new opportunities. One of our goals is to choose the avenues that bring tangible results and to utilize or create the most original yet practical ways for our clients to market their music," says Smith.
Skyline Innovations also offers personalized ticketing services unique to each artist which builds loyalty and increases web traffic by enabling fans to obtain priority seating at shows with lower ticket charges.
Skyline Innovations will provide reasonably priced yet modern marketing services to artists in a way that stresses not only convenience, but quality. Each client is unique in all steps of the process beginning with the development of a plan to the final stages of implementation. "With the demise of traditional label marketing, more and more pressure is being put on the artist to communicate directly with their fans.
