This second home study course from HotAudioVideoTips.com, Hot Video Tips 101 Quick Start, was released to the public yesterday. This step by step training fills in the gaps left by other video training packages for beginners, providing a complete start to finish interactive tutorial.
"Initially our intention was to focus on providing a service for streaming audio and video for those who wish to add it to their sites. But after having spent months researching the process, the services available and how it could easily be implemented into a website, we realized that the mainstream website owners were for the most part grossly unprepared and at the mercy of the existing providers," say Komee Carpenter and Cathy Linderman of 107 Solutions, Inc. These simple step-by-step tutorials are all that is needed to be able to do it yourself, and their philosophy is 'not only can anyone learn it,' but they usually can learn all the basics by using their existing equipment and free software also, thus keeping initial outlay almost nil.
This Hot Video Tips 101 release comes from the realization that online video truly is not a task that can only be completed by computer and techie type people. Both the Hot Audio Tips and Hot Video Tips home study courses offer interactive training developed and presented by Mrs. Linderman, who has an extensive background in teaching and lecturing. They are offered as digital downloads, so they may be accessed the same day as purchased. And for this initial release, the two are being offered together as a package for the holiday season.
Even the novice website owner can easily follow along with the tutorials and step by step outline/manual that is provided in a PDF format. "Students have a much better retention of what they are learning, if they hear it, see it, write it and do it while they are learning, and our interactive training provides all of this in one neat package," says Mrs. Linderman.
Online audio and video comes in the forms of streaming, on-demand and downloads. Downloads are the form most people are familiar with. They make a purchase, and download an audio or video file to their computer.
Streaming (whether live or on-demand) generally means it is being played directly within the website or within your media player, but it is not being downloaded and saved to your computer. Live streaming refers to watching an event as it happens, with just a few seconds delay. On-demand streaming is watching a pre-recorded event.

107 Solutions, Inc. is predominately an Internet-based business of which the main focus is the use of audio and video on the Internet. The corporation has streamed live events from Europe, but is based and conducts its business in the US. Although their market focus has been Christian businesses including churches and missionary organizations, their tutorials apply to any website on the Internet. The training is, in other words, applicable to any and all that want to learn how to create, use and put audio and video on the Internet.
