Toronto design firm, DesignStyleTaste.com, announces the immediate release of their '2007 Fridge Art Calendar'. Featuring original artwork by creative and generous children, they donated their artwork knowing it would help children less fortunate. 100% of the profits from the sale of this unique calendar will be donated to Our Lady's Missionaries.

This fundraising calendar showcases children's artwork that was temporarily removed from their fridge while the family house was up for sale. Marty MacPhail of DesignStyleTaste.com explains …

"As a Design Coach, we recommend that House Sellers remove all distractions from their house when preparing it for the resale market. This includes clearing off their fridge. And usually that's where families proudly display their children's artwork. In essence, we're asking them to temporarily close their family's art gallery. This makes us feel sad. Kids' artwork is so bright, honest, uninhibited and creative. It should be on display."

Sister Frances Brady from Our Lady's Missionaries, reported that enough money was raised, from the sale of last year's calendar, to purchase art supplies and lunches for 40 children for one year, as well as tuition and transportation to art school for two (2) children at the Community Family Development Program in Planalto do Pici, Brazil.

The 2007 Fridge Art Calendar features six young Canadian artists as well as artwork developed by some of the children from Brazil who benefited by the fundraising efforts of last year's Fridge Art Calendar. The 2007 Fridge Art Calendar can be viewed and ordered online for $19.95 + taxes and shipping at http://www.DesignStyleTaste.com

As a compliment to the calendar, the 'Fridge Art GALLERY,' where the artwork is exhibited, can be found at http://www.DesignStyleTaste.com. More fridge art will be exhibited as DesignStyleTaste helps more families get their houses ready to sell.
