The very nature of digital signage allows for a high degree of flexibility and customers should feel the obligation to constantly update media on their screens. The bottom line is without fresh content; viewers will lose interest and be reluctant to return for information. We are simply trying to help our customers mitigate this risk

Captive Indoor Media announced today that Gainesville, GA based Gainesville Bank and Trust (http://www.gbt.com) has purchased their digital signage software and content delivery service. The system will be installed in December of 2006 and implemented with the intent of augmenting in branch branding and sales initiatives.

"Captive Indoor Media's digital signage solution seemed to fit into our banking business model," said Nick Kastner, CFMP, Marketing Officer with Gainesville Bank and Trust. "We looked at several systems and Captive Indoor Media definitely offered the most comprehensive solution for us," added Kastner.

Captive Indoor Media is unique in the digital signage industry because they not only produce software but also deliver content creation as part of their monthly service. Each month their customers receive up to 30 new pieces of content specific to the banking industry which can be customized to that institutions brand.

"We feel that the creation and management of media assets is the most challenging part of using a digital signage system," said Brian Nutt, President and Founder of Captive Indoor Media. "The very nature of digital signage allows for a high degree of flexibility and customers should feel the obligation to constantly update media on their screens. The bottom line is without fresh content; viewers will lose interest and be reluctant to return for information. We are simply trying to help our customers mitigate this risk," added Nutt.

Banking has long been a hyper competitive industry. And, according to a recent survey by the American Banking Association, marketing budgets among both small and large institutions have been growing since 2002. One of those growth areas within the marketing budget has been for digital signage.

"We have had our eye on the digital signage movement for some time now being one of the first in our market area to implement such signage," said Nick Kastner. "By switching to Captive Indoor Media, their technological prowess will allow us to differentiate our brand, reinforce our value proposition and give us an opportunity to compete on a higher level. We are very excited about this new partnership with Captive Indoor Media," added Kastner.
