On Wednesday, December 6th, The Today Show, NBC's top-rated morning show, will feature Little Giraffe blankets in a segment highlighting the best Holiday gifts for babies and kids. Such prominent exposure on national media during the prime Holiday shopping season comes as no surprise, given all the attention Little Giraffe has received in 2006. Due to the recent spate of celebrity babies sporting their line of premium baby blankets and the growing popularity of their adult robes and throws in Hollywood's elite circles, Little Giraffe's visibility--and sales--have risen sharply this year.

According to Sharyn Newberg, President of Little Giraffe, the company's success comes from its loyal following among specialty stores and boutiques, as well as its support from specialty department stores. Little Giraffe's increased visibility in stores around the country has corresponded with the brand's many appearances in the media. The list of celebrity moms in the Little Giraffe baby blanket fan club include Angeline Jolie, Britney Spears, Denise Richards, Jennifer Garner, Marcia Gay Holden and Katie Holmes.

And, since 2005, Little Giraffe has catered to the luxury lifestyle set with its Giraffe At Home Collection of sumptuous robes, throws and bedding ensembles. Their signature satin and chenille robes have been donned by many of the Hollywood in-crowd, including Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba, Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Pompeo, Debra Messing, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Katherine Heigl, Sandra Oh and Annette Benning--and Eva Longoria reportedly loves Little Giraffe's new Luxe faux-fur throws just as much as her Desperate Housewives character Gabi's adopted baby Lily loved her pink Little Giraffe blanket on the television series last season.

When asked what effect the additional exposure on The Today Show might have on already-brisk sales of Little Giraffe blankets, Cundy Bryson, one of the owners of Sleepytime Store (http://www.sleepytimestore.com), an Atlanta baby boutique, responded, "It will be fun to see which products they feature on the show, but I just hope we can keep up with the new orders. It's been a busy year with Little Giraffe, to say the least."
