Growing interest in outsourcing, shared services and offshoring industry reflected in increase in revenues and new clients.

Award winning global advisory firm Alsbridge announced today that its 2006 revenues far exceeded expectations. Alsbridge Americas CEO Ben Trowbridge, says growth from US companies has grown by more than 100 percent.

"Outsourcing, offshoring and shared services continues to be a strategic initiative in most major US organizations," says Trowbridge. "More locations are becoming viable as well as more functional areas within the company. And since this represents an area where there is less internal knowledge and experience, senior executives are turning to advisory firms like Alsbridge for help."

While exact revenues and new client names were not released, Alsbridge says that the industries showing the greatest demand for outsourcing and shared services in 2006 were transportation, banking, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.

"Anywhere margin pressures have increased you will find a greater appetite for lowering costs through outsourcing," says Trowbridge. "While information technology maintains is position as the leading area for outsourcing, business process outsourcing generates the most calls for help. Human Resources, procurement, and Finance represent the new wave of opportunity."
