Our kosher products are in keeping with our commitment to provide our consumers with dairy products that fit their desires and lifestyles

In an effort to meet the nationwide demand for kosher dairy products, and just in time for Hanukkah, Cabot Creamery of Vermont offers Cabot OU Kosher Sharp Cheddar, which is certified (OU-D) by the Orthodox Union and is also Kosher for Passover.

An estimated 6 to 8 million Americans are believed to be consumers of kosher foods, including Muslims, Seventh Day Adventists, and vegetarians, in addition to individuals of the Jewish faith. "Our kosher products are in keeping with our commitment to provide our consumers with dairy products that fit their desires and lifestyles," states Dr. Rich Stammer, President of Cabot Creamery.

Cabot OU Kosher Sharp Cheddar is available in random weight deli bars weighing approximately 10 ounces each. These bars are clearly marked with the OU's hologram sticker. Consumers may order this and other Cabot products online at http://www.shopcabot.com.

For more than a generation, Cabot has offered an array of Kosher dairy products. Cabot cheeses are certified kosher by Tablet K and also bear the Halal symbol. Cabot's butter, cottage cheese, sour cream, dips, yogurt and whipped cream, which are available in stores but not online, are also certified OU-D.

Cabot Creamery Cooperative has been in continuous operation in Vermont since 1919 and makes a full line of traditional, specialty, reduced fat and flavored cheddars, as well as butter and cultured dairy products. Best known as makers of "The World's Best Cheddar," Cabot is owned by the dairy farm families of Agri-Mark, the Northeast's premier dairy cooperative.
