Waterloo, Iowa (PRWEB) December 8, 2006

Morgan&Myers, Inc., an integrated communications firm with deep roots in agriculture, has been retained by the Iowa Corn Promotion Board (ICPB) and Iowa Corn Growers Association (ICGA). These two independent organizations -- known jointly as Iowa Corn -- share a common goal of creating long-term profitability for Iowa corn growers.

The ICPB invests Iowa corn checkoff dollars in research, market development and education programs, while the ICGA is a membership organization that brings Iowa corn growers together to work on issues that affect their industry and their livelihood.

"Iowa Corn is excited to be working with Morgan&Myers," says Mindy Williamson, Iowa Corn director of communications and public relations. "Their industry knowledge speaks for itself. Morgan&Myers has the staffing and the reputation to work with consumer audiences and traditional agricultural markets. We've hit the road running and look forward to what we can accomplish in the future."

According to Morgan&Myers' Janine Whipps, a partner and leader of the agency's integrated marketing communications practice area, "We're thrilled to be partnering with Iowa Corn during a time when so much is happening on the corn new usage front, with ethanol and E85 leading the way."

Morgan&Myers will manage the Iowa Corn account out of its Waterloo, Iowa, office. Work will focus on several different areas, including membership retention; government, research and business development; and market development, which includes ethanol.

A full-service communications agency, Morgan&Myers offers advertising, public relations, digital services, event planning and direct marketing. The firm specializes in building brands, relationships and reputations throughout the food supply chain and has experience with agricultural producers, processors, food and nutrition influentials and consumer product companies. Morgan&Myers has offices in Waterloo, Iowa, Waukesha, Wis., and Minneapolis. For more information, please visit http://www.morganmyers.com
