SUN Hires Former Miss USA as Director of Media and Investor Relations

Shannon Marketic is a published writer, television producer, corporate spokesperson, key-note speaker and public relations director. Marketic attended Pepperdine University in her undergraduate and graduate studies before becoming the 42nd Miss USA, representing California. Marketic spoke an average of twelve times a week, making her one of the most requested speakers in Miss USA's history.

Shannon gained acceptance into the Who's Who in American Women for her writing and philanthropic accomplishments and has been a coveted spokesperson for many companies. She has developed marketing and PR campaigns for Vera's in the Glenn, The Pointe Resorts, Proctor and Gamble, Buick and Wal-Mart. Marketic has a substantial live television background and has enjoyed a successful acting career having appeared in over twenty-five television shows and feature films.

Shannon will be responsible for the contact and development of the SUN brand and business with the media as well as liaison to the investment banking community.
