Founded by sisters Heather Maclean and Hollie Schultz in 2005, The Baby Gizmo Company has grown into a product testing and research coalition of moms, pediatricians and child development experts. "We leave the crash testing and safety ratings to the government and consumer organizations like Consumer Reports," says Heather, "but while we love their information, we found their reviews didn't speak to other important issues, like if the music is annoying or you'll ever get dried green beans out of the cracks. Our product testing is real-world testing. We built a stroller obstacle course. We weigh products. We throw food on them. We run through parking lots carrying them, two other kids and our diaper bags."

Heather and Hollie are seasoned entrepreneurs and quickly becoming nationally renowned for their baby gear expertise. They are frequent expert contributors to the Toy Industry Association's publication, The Toy Directory. Beginning next month, they will become regular correspondents for Chicago's #1-rated morning news program ABC7 News This Morning. Their first book, The Baby Gizmo Baby Gear Buying Guide, will be published by Rutledge Hill in Spring 2007.

Mom of three, Heather Maclean is also the founder of the award-winning children's media company, Little Laureate Inc., whose debut DVD title was named Parenting magazine Video of the Year and voted #3 of the Best Videos for Babies of All Time by readers of Parents magazine. Heather was recently chosen as one of the "16 Best Entrepreneurs in America" by

Sir Richard Branson and invited to accompany him on a 50,000-mile trip around the world.

Their journey, titled "The Rebel Billionaire," was televised on Fox TV in 2004/2005.
