Aj Moss Launches Revamped Website to Enhance Their Customers Experience

Aj MOSS has recently launched a newly designed website to enhance the experience at their e-commerce bedroom store. The new website offers consumers the ability to browse their store effectively, breaking away from the mold of the traditional on line shopping experience. Up until now in the online bedding industry it has been easy to find specific items, but difficult to peruse products based on ideas of styles, colors, patterns or sizes.

In a continuing effort to improve their customer experience Aj MOSS, an e-commerce retailer and bedding manufacturer and other enhancements for the home, has unveiled a new website with several new features. The new features offer a more intuitive and logical interface, providing the end user with a more productive shopping experience. Aj MOSS expects the new features to result in more sales and more satisfactory customer experiences.

At first glance the overall visual look of the website is similar to the old; however a closer inspection reveals the new features of the website. Most noticeably, the new site offers bedding by size, item, brand and color. The employees of aj MOSS found that many on-line bedding stores offer little to the majority of customers who are still undecided on specific ensembles. Aj MOSS' new website fills this gap by allowing potential customers to search for bedding beginning with broad categories which will narrow the lot to show a variety of sets from different manufacturers.

Elizabeth Osborne, aj MOSS website administrator explains, "We found that most visitors who reach us on the web are looking to find bedding based on their personal needs and preferences less often than specific ensembles. Our new site appeals to the majority of visitors who are still browsing, allowing them to find specific sets which fit their homes and lifestyles. At the same time it is still easy for visitors to use our search functions to find ensembles by exact names and manufacturers."

The home page has a new feature as well which appeals to the consumer who is looking for a particular look. The "Find Your Bedding Style" section takes the major bedding styles and highlights their attributes, leading the consumer to the top selling designs within them. Rather than looking through page after page of offerings, this allows the consumer to get a good idea of their options without leaving the home page of the site.

Another important improvement to aj MOSS' website is the new "Zoomify in-line zooming". Each ensemble has a picture within the description, as is common practice for e-commerce websites but aj MOSS has taken this a step further. The new feature allows a detailed look at what the customer is buying, allowing them to make a more informed choice, without having to wait for fabric swatches to arrive. The Zoomify in-line zooming allows such a close look at the bedroom set that one can even see the weave of the fabric. The customer can see all of the detailed patterns, colors and textures which are often missed until the items are received at home.

These new features are coupled with a subtle visual redesign which offers clearer text, more defined navigation and a new search function. An "about us" page has been added also to introduce the staff to the public. Aj Moss is excited about the new design and has a holiday sale going on to help celebrate the season and the website!
