On Tuesday, December 12, Moxie's President, Laurids Skaarup and top executives will be visiting Edmonton for the unveiling of Chop, the newest concept for this restaurant group and the first location for this fine casual steak house. Chop is a unique and contemporary steak house that brings together the elements that discerning guests like about fine dining - exceptional food, a notable wine list, quality spirits and service, combined with the energy level and value of casual dining.

Chop employs its own design team showcasing the company's long standing interest and talent in architecture and interior design. The design for Chop's room is inspired by classic steakhouses yet transformed by a modern design, using only quality authentic finishes such as imported Italian leather upholstery, slate and rich wood. "Chop will set a standard in the industry for design. Completely appropriate for a fine casual experience given that today's marketplace is not only the most food savvy in history, but they are also the most design savvy in history," Skaarup notes.
