Dennis feels that authors should help other authors where possible. He has added numerous pages with links to author web sites that he feels are family friendly. Other sites with information that he feels is family friendly are also identified. The method he has chosen is a different approach from most web sites. The main page, titled author web sites, identifies sources of family friendly sites that are author-related or are sources of information which he feels deserve special mention. Comments are made where applicable on the content of the site to offer his prospective on the content of the sites identified.
The main page, titled authors web sites, provides alphabetical links by the last name of the author web site. A new aspect of this kind of exposure is where Dennis offers other authors the opportunity to submit their web site for consideration to be added if they are family friendly. Another aspect not usually offered gives visitors the chance to identify sites they feel fit the family friendly criteria if they are not listed.
Visitors can access any author web page link by clicking on the letter associated with the last name of the author they are searching for.
Authors today have an increasing problem to get exposure and recognition. Dennis feels that by adding links to other author sites, he helps them become more recognized for their work. Dennis' site is a resource for other authors to market their books, and this is another way that he makes efforts to help them.
In addition to their sites, Dennis also has posted articles by other writers to give them exposure for articles they have written.
Dennis provides this service freely while other sites sometimes charge or requires an extensive process to be listed. Sometimes it takes weeks for a site to be listed. Dennis' process does not require action by an author to have their site listed. He offers to have anyone contact him through his site if an author or anyone knows of a site that is family friendly but not listed. He will review the site and add it in the applicable page if it is acceptable.
