We executed a successful proof-of-concept through Celequest's innovative 'Quick Start' program and had the system up and running in just a few days.

Celequest, the leading provider of operational business intelligence (BI), today announced that Compassion International, a non-profit organization focused on reducing child poverty, will use Celequest's LAVA BI appliance to enhance visibility into its donations workflow system and accelerate processing of contributions.
Compassion's donations workflow system channels contributions through a series of steps, with about 70% of all donations making it through the process automatically. However, about 30% of donations end up on an "exception" path where manual intervention is required, delaying the processing of funds for days. With an expected 10,000 contributions a day streaming into the system via multiple channels, Compassion knew that exceptions were to be expected, but it had no way to gain insight into how it was handling these exceptions. Compassion needed to understand where incidents were occurring, how quickly they were being handled, and where the system was getting bottlenecked, among other key metrics. Compassion also needed a solution that would not overly burden its IT department or strain its operating budget.
Compassion selected Celequest's LAVA to deliver insight into key performance metrics at a fraction of the cost of other BI solutions. LAVA is the industry's first appliance designed to bring critical BI information to thousands of users at the lowest possible total cost of ownership (TCO). With LAVA, Compassion's workers can track up-to-the-minute key performance metrics using intuitive dashboards, enabling them to spot emerging issues before they become critical and make decisions that keep the process moving. Using LAVA, Compassion's key metrics are continuously updated from multiple data sources, including the organization's contributions database and its Business Process Management (BPM) system, providing personnel with immediate visibility into processing performance and proactively alerting them to exceptions.
Compassion anticipates that increased visibility into the system will dramatically reduce exceptions processing time and allow the organization to more quickly put donations to work in support of its anti-poverty mission.
"We chose Celequest LAVA not only because the technology provides instant visibility into our processing system with easy-to-use dashboards, but also because the LAVA appliance was simple to implement and requires minimal ongoing IT involvement," said Robert Miller, Corporate Project Manager of Compassion International. "We executed a successful proof-of-concept through Celequest's innovative 'Quick Start' program and had the system up and running in just a few days."
"With Celequest's LAVA, mid-sized businesses with few IT resources can now provide better visibility to workers across the organization without the cost and complexity of deploying traditional BI software," said Diaz Nesamoney, chief executive officer of Celequest. "We are pleased to have been selected to provide Compassion with critical insights into its donations processing workflow, enabling the organization to quickly move contributions through the system to support its worldwide programs."
