Intra-Focus Boosts Creative Services with Two New Hires
Two creative additions and an important promotion for Austin area marketing company.
Georgetown, TX (PRWEB) December 18, 2006 -- Intra-Focus, an Austin-area marketing company, announces two new additions to their already talented and experienced creative team. The new members are Ryan McVinney, interactive programmer, and Shawn Ng, art director, who will both help Intra-Focus better serve the creative needs of its growing client base in the coming years.
Ryan McVinney, who joins the team as a Creative Designer and Interactive Programmer, earned a B.A. degree in Multimedia Production and Web Design from the New England Institute of Art in Brookline, Massachusetts. He has an extensive background in interactive and creative design, website development, Flash programming, software design, and multimedia production. Before joining Intra-Focus, McVinney helped found and develop The Music Gym, a successful music rehearsal facility and recording studio. He also developed an interactive website with online music store, and helped to record and release albums for Get Nice Records in Boston, Massachusetts.
Shawn Ng brings more than ten years of experience in professional art direction, illustration and design to the company. Most recently, Ng founded I See Design, an Austin-based graphic and visual design company. He has also worked as an advertising specialist, illustrator and art director for companies in the U.S., Taiwan and Malaysia. Ng has extensive experience in a wide range of media and applications, including digital design and illustration, television, pen & ink, and print and web productions. Ng holds a B.A. in Journalism from National Cheng Chi University in Taiwan and an M.A. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
In addition to the company's recent hires, Intra-Focus also announces the promotion of Joy McVean to Account Director. In her new role, McVean will lead four of the firm's strategic accounts: North Cypress Medical Center (Houston, TX), Park Plaza Hospital (Houston, TX), First Choice Emergency Clinics (DFW & Houston, TX) and Whataburger (Florida). Most recently, McVean served as Production Manager.
