CAI and the IT Metrics and Productivity Institute are hosting a one-day seminar in Tampa, FL, on April 17, 2007, that will show CIOs and senior IT practitioners how to leverage software best practices to dramatically improve the productivity and quality of their software development and maintenance organizations.

The conference will include keynote presentations by Beth Layman, Senior Consultant with Borland Software; Dr. Herb Krasner, Founder of the Software Quality Institute; Tony Salvaggio, President of CAI and Founder of the IT Metrics and Productivity Institute; Joe McMakin, former CIO of Air Products and Chemicals and winner of Gartner's CIO Choice Award for Excellence in IT; and Bob Lawhorn, CTO of CAI. The venue for the conference will be the Belleview Biltmore Resort at 25 Belleview Blvd. in Clearwater, FL, on April 17, 2007. The event is a full day catered affair with breakfast and lunch included.
