As the company who first brought project management templates to the web, Method123 have now released a suite of free project management articles, templates and an e-book to help Project Managers to improve the delivery of their projects.
"Project Managers and teams can now download articles which guide projects towards success," says Johanna Barnett, Marketing Director for Method123 Ltd. "Each articles describes the fundamentals of Project Management in a light that is informative, easy to read and helpful. It steps you through the tasks and activities you need to complete as a Project Manager, to improve your project success rates. Together, the articles will cover all of the critical aspects of project management, that a Project Manager or team member must implement to successfully deliver a project," says Barnett.
So far, six comprehensive articles have been released, with the intention of releasing a new article on project management every week. The content for each article is based on the Method123 Project Management Methodology called 'MPMM'. This methodology includes more than 1000 content pages, charts, tables, templates and practical examples to help project managers implement more structured project management processes.
Some could see MPMM as being like the ultimate project management manual, as it describes every phase, activity and task in the Project Life Cycle. It tells Project Managers which tasks they need to complete, how and by when. It also includes a complete suite of project management templates to help managers and teams to create deliverables much faster than before.
The MPMM project management software also includes a suite of case studies to help managers to learn best practice approaches for delivering projects. Method123 are now using this information, based on worldwide project management standards, to populate their free project management articles, as released on their website today.
In conjunction with the free articles released, Method123 have also released a suite of free risk management templates to help managers and teams to monitor and control risk within their projects. The templates help people to identify risks upfront, and then plan to address them throughout the course of a project.
A free project management book has also been released, which explains the Project Management Life Cycle in some depth. It takes readers through the entire project life cycle, explaining how to complete projects on time and within budget.
"Together, the free articles, templates and ebook released on our site make a great offering for Project Managers," says Barnett. "It's a challenging job, managing a project. You have to juggle time, cost, quality, people, resources and money. Managing all of these factors and delivering a project on time and under budget is always difficult. But by using the knowledge gained from these free tools and articles, Project Managers can improve their knowledge and skill base and give themselves a much better chance of success".
