Dunoon, Argyll, Scotland (PRWEB) December 18, 2006
Ronnie Ford, a highly acclaimed contemporary Scottish Artist specializing in TextureScapes, TimeScapes, and Giclée prints, celebrates the launch of his seasonal e-newsletter "Mixed Media" and new website http://www.ronnieford.com with a Holiday Competition to win a dedicated signed Giclée print from his 2007 TextureScapes calendar.
It is now just over three years since Ronnie and Carol Ford returned home from Hong Kong, and just over two years since they established Atelier23, a working studio on the Holy Loch Marina, near Dunoon in Argyll, on the west coast of Scotland.
Ford's work is well known, with several large commissions hanging in corporate hallways in Hong Kong, adorning the walls of prestigious hotels and in public and private art collections worldwide. Recently, two of Ronnie's compositions, "The Pond, Benmore" and "Red Roof Reflections", have been added to the Paperhouse "Art House" card collection.
However, according to Ronnie, "I have had my eye on the internet for some time as a medium to connect with a wider audience and as an innovative way to show my works world-wide. Our new Mixed Media e-newsletter is also a perfect way to communicate our latest news to readers, and we wanted to add a bit of interaction with a fun competition."
All competition entrants are offered a special discount on Ronnie's 2007 TextureScapes Calendar which has just been released, and the competition winner can choose any one of the 12 prints to be signed as their prize.
As announced in Mixed Media, the new http://www.ronnieford.com website also offers visitors a chance to see some of Ronnie's recent exhibition work, notably his successful TextureScapes Exhibition at the Torrance Gallery in Edinburgh, with new 360 virtual tours adding an extra dimension to the online visitor experience. http://www.ronnieford.com/texturescapes_exhibition.html,
