New York, NY (PRWEB) December 19, 2006
myartspace, the rapidly growing online community for emerging artists, established artists and photographers, has announced launch of myartspace interviews. The site, myartspace.com/interviews, holds one of the most comprehensive collections of interviews with emerging and established visual artists.
Brian Sherwin, Senior Contributing Editor at myartspace and manager of the myartspace blog, is spearheading the interview efforts. Catherine McCormack-Skiba, co-founder and creative director of myartspace, adds, "Brian brings an incredible burst of energy, creativity and thought leadership to the art community at myartspace. He seeks answers to complex and debatable topics; he unburies the interesting elements of artists' lives through his interview series: Space Talk. We are very fortunate and happy to have Brian on our leadership team. His interviews are a great forum for artists to raise their awareness level and for our growing community to be aware of them."
Myartspace intends to open the doors to its video broadcasting studio in New York City in April of 2007. "Our video broadcasting studio in New York will allow us to introduce high-quality interviews with the world's most influential artists as they regularly attend gallery openings here. We hope to open additional broadcasting studios in San Francisco, London, Seoul and Mumbai over the next 12 months," notes Catherine McCormack-Skiba. The myartspace video broadcasting studio will be producing high-quality High Definition content for the Internet and traditional broadcast media.
The myartspace interview library today includes the following artists:
Yui Keung Lam
Kathy Ostman Magnusen
Maureen Girard Mason
Carrie Ann Baade
John F. Champoli
Sydney Phillips Hardin
Renato Klieger Gennari
myartspace is a fresh new community-based website for aspiring, emerging artists and photographers; more established artists and members of the art world -- teachers, collectors, museums, galleries, art buyers. Members will be able to establish their presence in the community, build and display galleries of their works, promote their works and career, participate in dialog, competition and events and build an online store to sell products.
