As recently announced, Lisa Dunn-Dern has been engaged by ETV (Ethiopian Television) and PingNet Communications to produce and host a series of original entertaining education spots to run in conjunction with ETV's scheduled weekend children's programming in Ethiopia. A former staff writer for the HBO/Fox TV series "Roc," she also directed large-scale children's theater productions in Los Angeles, and has been honored for her commitment to children's literacy and education. She is the author of a series of children's books whose illustrations feature an interracial family. Together with her teenage daughter, Dunn-Dern co-hosts the live, monthly "Chelsea and Lisa Show" over GlobalTalkRadio.com.
