Winter Spanish Courses, Open House Announced by Spanish Institute in Minneapolis
Minneapolis Spanish Language School offers a flexible Winter course schedule with a variety of classes taught in a relaxed environment, using conversational methods that make learning convenient for busy adults.
Edina, MN (PRWEB) December 19, 2006 -- The Spanish Institute announces its Winter 2007 schedule of Spanish classes for all ages and levels of experience starting the week of January 8, 2007. Registration has begun for 10-week Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level courses.
In preparation for the new classes, José Abascal, director of the Spanish Institute, invites the public to attend an informational Open House at the Institute on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, from 5-7 p.m. “If ‘learn Spanish’ or ‘travel abroad’ are on your 2007 ‘to do’ list, bring a friend and attend the Spanish Institute’s Winter Open House,” says Abascal. Guests will sample the flavors of Spain, as well as Mexico and other Latin American countries, meet faculty and staff of the Spanish Institute, and experience the comfortable environment that makes learning Spanish easy and fun. Those interested may take a free placement questionnaire and find out which course is best suited for them.
All ages and abilities can find an appropriate class at the Spanish Institute. New 10-week day or evening courses start the week of January 8, 2007. Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced courses focus on understanding and speaking the language from day one, as well as learning about the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. Specialized classes are also available for business professionals and for Spanish literature.
The Spanish Institute offers gift certificates for all courses, and for books and materials. Certificates are valid for 12 months and enable the recipient to register for any of the 10-week programs.
Abascal encourages adults who are proficient in Spanish to participate in the center’s Conversation Circle, held the first and third Thursday of the month at the Spanish Institute. Participants read and discuss an article to practice their conversational fluency. There is no charge to attend.
