Advanced Concepts Center (ACC), a learning, consulting and knowledge transfer solutions company focused on enabling business, management and information technology professionals, today announces two of its associates that have become two of the first IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professionals (CBAP™).

Roswell, GA (PRWEB) December 22, 2006 -- Advanced Concepts Center (ACC), a learning, consulting and knowledge transfer solutions company focused on enabling business, management and information technology professionals, today announces two of its associates that have become two of the first IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professionals (CBAP™).

On November 10, 2006, at the Project World and World Congress for Business Analysts Conference in Orlando, FL, the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) held its first Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP™) exam. This was the first exam ever to be offered by the IIBA to certify the Business Analyst profession. The exam was developed by an advisory group in the IIBA and is based on the content established in the Business Analysis Body Of Knowledge (BABOK) version 1.6. The CBAP exam consisted of 150 multiple choice questions, with 15 people being the first to sit for this three and a half hour exam.

Of the testing group, two of the ACC's associates, Carol Miller, Vice President Professional Services & Curriculum and Audrey Jaffe, ACC Senior Consultant from Jaffe Consulting, were among the first to pass the CBAP exam.

Congratulations to Carol and Audrey on this professional accomplishment and becoming two of the first Certified Business Analysts in the world.

Carol and Audrey have been an integral part of advancing the Business Analysis profession within the IIBA community and provide expert business analysis consulting and education to ACC's clients. ACC's services include: Business Analyst skills assessments, defining and designing Requirements Management Frameworks that incorporate industry best practices, templates and process improvements, Business Analyst education and Business Analysts and project mentoring.

In 2007, there will be 12 CBAP certification examinations offered by IIBA in the US, Canada and possibly two other international locations. Exact dates and specific locations will be announced by IIBA soon. There is limited seating for the exams and you must apply and pass an initial screening process prior to being able to take the exam, so check out the IIBA site at http://www.theiiba.org for developing dates, details and the sign-up process.
