Richard J. Mouw, president of Fuller Theological Seminary, has started a personal blog. Accessible from Fuller's homepage at http://www.fuller.edu, or directly at http://www.netbloghost.com/mouw, the blog will offer postings of Mouw's comments and reflections on issues of the day.

"I am so pleased to take advantage of this new vehicle for sharing some of my thoughts with friends not just in the Fuller community, but in the greater online community around the globe," said Mouw. "'Blogging' has become an undeniably efficient mode of communication in our world, and I'm looking forward to engaging in the experience!"

The blog will feature regular commentary from Mouw addressing the connections between faith, culture, and topics of current interest. In his initial post, for example, he reflects on the spiritual implications of the MySpace phenomenon, drawing parallels between the words of the Psalmist and today's trends in creating online "spaces" of one's own. The blog also includes helpful links on books Mouw has authored and other sites where his writings and comments have been published.

Fuller Seminary is one of the largest multidenominational seminaries in the world, with nearly 5,000 students attending annually from 70 countries and more than 100 denominations. Fuller provides professional and graduate-level education in its schools of theology, psychology, and intercultural studies.
