(PRWEB) December 27, 2006 -- In Gentry magazine's December issue, fine art photographer Marc Silber takes on a special assignment to capture the San Francisco Peninsula.
Silber's career as a photographer began at 12 when he learned darkroom skills at famed Peninsula School. He studied the works of masters such as Ansel Adams and Henri Cartier-Bresson but quickly forged his own unique style. Later, he honed his skills at the San Francisco Art Institute--one of the most prestigious schools of art and photography in the United States.
Gentry said, "Marc has a passion for capturing a sense of place in his work. After studying a bit of Silber's portfolio we challenged him to capture our favorite place--the Peninsula…you'll find some exquisite images of a place you thought you already knew."
