The Ibtimes Company announces the launch of AdCubes2 (http://www.ibtimes.com/adcubes2), on the 27th of December 2006, to respond to the growing demand for affordable website promotion.

AdCubes2 is a unique advertising idea. Each AdCube is a 50x50 pixel banner that links to the advertiser's website according to specific categories. Advertisers pay an increasing amount for each AdCube sold by Ibtimes. For each ad that is sold, the price increases by $1. So if 100 have been sold, the next advertiser would pay $101 for the next AdCube.

New AdCubes appear on the left side of the main page in their category, while older AdCubes are pushed rightward until they end up in the corresponding Category section where they have priority over $1 AdCubes.

Visitors will be able to create $1 AdCubes at any time. However they are exclusively Category AdCubes that do not appear on the Homepage. Their value, however, increases with time indefinitely.

The rationale behind the increasing price is that as visitors visit the site, advertisers will purchase the ads if they are cheap. As more and more people visit the site through promotions or word-of-mouth, the ads naturally become more valuable. As the ads gain value, the $1 increase in each ad sold will correspond roughly with the increase in interest. As long as the site continues to grow in AdCubes and in traffic, advertisers will find an increasing return on investment.

AdCubes2 incorporates different ways of promotion for varying budgets. Prices range from $1 to $5,000 for the GoldCube, which is the biggest "eternal" Homepage Cube.

AdCubes2 was also designed as a platform to make money. Visitors to the AdCubes website also have the possibility to play the CubeChallenge, a game where the player has to find a unique combination of two cubes that will unlock a prize. Players can win at any time of the year. Other money-making functions are planned for January 2007.
