Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) December 29, 2006
In the early morning hours of December 24th, Ryan Blair and Kasie Head were fast asleep after an evening of holiday parties and family reunions.
The couple woke to find their belongings out of place and several items missing. A thief entered their Sheraton Oklahoma City Hotel room without damaging standard door locks or waking the couple. Among the goods taken were an undisclosed amount of cash and a Breitling 8-Carat Diamond watch valued at $35K.
Former Miss Oklahoma Kasie Head was shaken by the incident: “It scares me that someone came in while we were sleeping. Who knows what would have happened if we woke up.” Head was relieved to find the thief overlooked a stack of presents hidden in the corner of the room. “At least this Grinch didn’t completely ruin Christmas!”
Ryan Blair, Chief Executive Officer of PathConnect.com, believes the robbery was premeditated. “This person knew what they were looking for. They came in without causing noise or damage and managed to take only our most valuable stuff.”
The Sheraton Hotel offers 24-hour staff and security cameras, but there was no suspicious behavior reported on the night in question. The hotel declined comment and was not willing to cover any of the damages or losses.
Blair filed a report with local police (Oklahoma City Police- Will Rogers Division Case #06-115142) and plans to issue an insurance claim for the valuable watch.
Ryan Blair and Kasie Head are in Oklahoma City for the holiday. Head is best known for her work on NBC’s Deal or No Deal and Blair is an author/speaker who appears regularly on MSNBC.
