MSNBC’s Dateline Television Program Busts Online Sex Offenders Live on Camera

Dateline exposes more online sexual predators and pedophiles in it's thrid installment of "To Catch a Predator". In the latest installment ofthis hidden camera report, arrests are finally made.

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 5, 2006 -- Dozens of online sex offenders and pedophiles have found themselves looking into the camera of MSNBC’s Dateline camera instead of getting to have sex a child as they hoped.

During the past several months the television news program, Dateline continues to shock and outrage television viewers across the country with its ongoing hidden camera investigation into Internet sexual predators, and how they use Internet chat rooms to target children for sexual abuse.

To Catch a Predator III
"Through a joint collaboration with volunteers on the Perverted Justice Internet safety organization, Dateline 'pulls back the curtain' and shows American how susceptible our youngsters are to online predators" Says Don Schnure, President of Parental Control Products, the makers of PC Tattletale Parental Control Software.

Some of those appearing on camera, like 43 year old high school teacher Walter Edward Babst admits he came to meet a girl he thought was 12 years old. In his chat with a Dateline online decoy, Babst describes what he wanted the 12 year old to wear and how he plans on taking her virginity.

In previous Dateline episodes, when confronted by Dateline reporter Chris Hansen, these men often run from the scene hoping to salvage their identities. In Dateline's latest installment of “To Catch a Predator III”, California sheriff's deputies are waiting to make arrests as these men run from the Dateline cameras.

While controversial due to the legal concerns regarding the potential for entrapment, Parental Control Products, LLC and PC Tattletale software strongly supports NBC's bold decision to pursue this sort of investigative reporting and exposing the dangers that our children face online and educating parents across the country.
