Is HRT Giving Menopausal Women Cancer?

Women going through menopause may have more concerns. Recent research linking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with increased risk of breast cancer, strokes, and heart disease
I am so glad someone finally created an all-natural menopause aid that actually works.

(PRWEB) February 10, 2006 -- If you had to choose between (A) hot flashes or (B) breast cancer, which would you choose? Or how about this one: (A) depression and sleeplessness or (B) a stroke?

With all the recent research linking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with increased risk of breast cancer, strokes, and heart disease, many women feel compelled to choose to stick out the pains of menopause in order to stay healthy in the long run.

The Women’s Health Initiative has conducted several clinical trials evaluating HRT treatments in order to determine whether the benefits of HRT outweighed the risks; the conclusion was that they did not.

They found that women on estrogen-progestin combination therapy have an increased risk of breast cancer by 26 percent, stroke by 41 percent, heart attack by 29 percent, and blood clots by around 50 percent, and women on estrogen alone have an increased risk of stroke by 39 percent and blood clots by 47 percent.

Based on these findings, it is easy to see why so many women choose to deal with their symptoms rather than get help.

However, Selmedica Healthcare of Memphis, TN sees no reason why menopausal women should have to suffer, which is why they created Peritol.

Peritol is a blend of highly specialized botanicals which Selmedica claims gives the female body the nutrients it needs to maintain balance during the transition into menopause. Selmedica’s customers apparently agree, as one of their many satisfied customers proclaims: “I am so glad someone finally created an all-natural menopause aid that actually works.”
