Free E-Books Given for Donations to IMAGINATION LIBRARY
Authors Harry & Elizabeth Lawrence, in cooperation with The Romance Club, are giving away a free copy of the new E-Book edition of IT HAD TO BE US to anyone who gives a donation to the IMAGINATION LIBRARY.
Pueblo, CO (PRWEB) February 16, 2006 -- Authors Harry & Elizabeth Lawrence, in cooperation with The Romance Club, are giving away a free copy of the new E-Book edition of IT HAD TO BE US to anyone who gives a donation of any amount to the IMAGINATION LIBRARY. The Lawrences' romantic memoir describes how they reunited after being divorced and estranged for nearly two decades. According to Don Grady, host of the popular Louisiana Live radio show, "IT HAD TO BE US is the Valentine book of the year.”
“My husband and I are pleased to help raise funds for such a worthy cause,” Elizabeth says. The IMAGINATION LIBRARY is a children's literacy program that brings free books to children each month from birth to 5 years old. Every month, children enrolled in the IMAGINATION LIBRARY receive a free book in their mailbox. This promotes both a love of books in the children, as well as giving parents an opportunity to spend some extra special time with their children. Not only is this program successful, but it is spreading quickly across the country. Over 500 communities have enrolled, and more than 200,000 books are delivered to children every month.
Donations will help bring more books to more children. And best of all, 100% of the money the Imagination Library receives goes to providing books for children, because all the administrative expenses are paid for by the Dollywood Foundation. Donations can be made by check or credit card.
