Artist Lore Eckelberry Creates New Anime Painting - “The Assassin”

The artist Lore Eckelberry has created a powerful new anime painting named “the assassin”.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 19, 2006 -- Artist Lore Eckelberry, a Los Angeles resident, has created an amazing Anime painting, “The Assassin” which portrays the strength of her ability to use color and communicate emotion. Bold fields of orange contrast with the strength of the black outlines of a futuristic figure that is shrouded in mystery. The painting illustrates a figure that fees completely down, due to the opinion of others. That is in a way the way that we feel in life at times, completely deflated, due to the statements and comments of the people around us. And what the artist would like to communicate is that if we believed these people around us, the so called “friends” the result is a complete shut-down of emotions, leaving us with the complete feeling of failure. Believe what others say about you, and your destruction would be complete. Good for them! they made it. They made their target of putting you down so your success would be null, and they achieved their product. Now you feel bad about yourself and beat yourself over the head for things that others, maybe your so-called friends, make you believe that you are: a complete failure.

This painting is an example of Lore’s ability to create in the viewer multiple readings of the subject and the simple forms convey emotions strongly.

Lore’s choice of figures for her paintings at once tell a story and at the same time is an outline for her dramatic use of color in all its vibrancy. The choice of colors that collide with each other enhances their individual qualities. And at the same time show you the dichotomies that we deal with in daily life. Believe or do not believe your best “friends”” and the people around that that say they care for you and love you, yet the end results is a blanket of shame and destruction of your own self. Is this good? Should we listen and take to heart the opinions of others around us? Or should we just be true to ourselves by listening to our own advice and opinion in order to succeed in life?

Artist Lore Eckelberry expresses the contradictions presented in life with the use of contrasting colors that contradict themselves by the pure idea of being next to each other. This work portrays great energy, emotion and strength of character that makes you feel the energy flow through your body.
