HI-POD TV Webcasts From Oscars Red Carpet. Watch HI-PODS Oscars red carpet webcast at Hi-pod.com.

In a spoof on the typical red carpet coverage of the OSCARS, HI-POD is webcasting from the opposite side of the Red Carpet- the Concrete Carpet. Two HI-POD fashionista hosts will be interviewing star-struck on-lookers desperate for celebrity sightings. Assisted by the stationary 25 foot HI-POD and the mobile 15 foot HI-POD, the hosts and on-lookers will actually be able to see the celebrities and comment on styles and compare fashions.

Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) March 6, 2006 -- All the celebrities have come out for Hollywood's biggest night. The OSCARS. Many fans travel from all over and line Hollywood Boulevard to see their favorite celebrities, but are disappointed by the tarps and fences that prevent onlookers from actually seeing anything.

To demonstrate how effective its products are, HI-POD has decided to webcast from the Oscars Red Carpet. Since HI-POD does not have any press credentials we have stationed two HI-PODS across the street from the event. The twenty-five foot HI-POD will be stationed directly across from the entrance of the KODAK THEATRE, while the 15 foot mobile HI-POD will be primarily positioned at the limosine drop-off point.

as if they were live
Two handheld cameras will individually follow our HI-POD hosts (Lloyd Kinnear, and Joanna Houghton). Joanna and Lloyd will interact with fans and have them come to the HI-POD Monitor to actually see the celebrities- something that is quite difficult to do.

None of the four cameras will be connected by wires. HI-POD invented a technique of synchronizing these dv tapes and editing them as if they were live. HI-POD TV is not a video capturing /editing system. It is a technique of recreating the live environment back at the HI-POD TV studio and switching the shots "as if they were live". The result of this technique is a slightly delayed broadcast, that eliminates many of the major production headaches and labor costs, while freeing up many of the studios resources.

The webcast will provide a great example of what HI-POD products and HI-POD TV can do for your News/ Sports production as well as shed some interesting light on OSCAR and how well he plays with his neighbors.
