2007 Enterprise Asset Management Summit and Reliability Managers’ Forum to be held in Hawaii

Popular reliability conferences move to tropical location for relaxed focus and International participation.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) March 9, 2006 –- Reliabilityweb.com announced today that RCM-2007 - The Reliability Centered Maintenance Managers’ Forum and EAM-2007 – The Enterprise Asset Management Summit are booked at the Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu Hawaii from April 3-6, 2007.

The announcement was made at this years sold out event at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the 2nd Annual Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Managers' Forum and the 2nd Annual Enterprise Asset Managers' Summit. This focused 3 day “community of learning” event is attended by over 500 maintenance and reliability professionals including the world’s most noted experts in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

Physical Asset Management is the last untapped bastion of corporate productivity and shareholder value. Equipment reliability is the key that will allow 'best practice' companies to outpace competitors who are late adopters.
"We appreciate the show of confidence from the maintenance and reliability professional community by selling out this event. They are starting to appreciate the difference a practitioner facing organization can deliver," states event organizer and Publisher Terrence O'Hanlon. “Physical Asset Management is the last untapped bastion of corporate productivity and shareholder value. Equipment reliability is the key that will allow 'best practice' companies to outpace competitors who are late adopters.”

Reliability Centered Maintenance is a strategy to ensure production and process equipment reliability by determining the “right” maintenance work to perform. Enterprise Asset Management is the tool to ensure that that work and material are managed as effectively as accounting transactions. Together these strategies and technologies propel asset management for 21st century leaders.

2006 event sponsors included leading reliability and asset management solutions providers such as Oracle, AssetPoint, Chevron, Ivara, ABB, Mikron Infrared and Avantis/Invensys.

In addition to broad focus and universal topics, the event also included several learning sessions dedicated to Datastream, Maximo and SAP-PM software as Reliabilityweb.com research shows these three systems own over 50% of the EAM market. Although SAP was not included in this year’s event, several SAP partners, such as Impress and Meridium, as well as independent consulting groups for the SAP-PM software, such as the US based Vesta Partners and European based Stork, did support the event through presentations or attendance. SAP-PM customer attendance is expected to continue to grow for the 2007 event as demand for independent SAP-PM learning resources increase. The same holds for customers of Datastream and MRO Software.

Attendance at all Reliabilityweb.com events is limited to ensure the best possible experience and interaction. Early registration is encouraged through discounts and the fact that 2006 events sold out.
