Lt. Colonel Bob Weinstein, aka the Health Colonel, inspired and motivated the members of the Hospitality Human Resources Association of Broward County at their luncheon meeting on March 1, 2006 at the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the topic “Seven Keys to Performance Enhancement in the Workplace.”

(PRWEB) March 8, 2006 -- Lt.

There was a sudden energy rush as Colonel Weinstein was talking about the impact of negative self-talk on work performance.

Col. Weinstein, “There are just two words you need to remember anytime you start talking negatively about yourself. Cease fire! Pretend you are the safety officer on the firing range who gives the command to cease fire. All firing on the range ceases. That’s what you are to do when you catch yourself firing away at you! Treat yourself like you would a very best friend, motivating and encouraging him or her to perform better and improve without condemnation.”
