Podcast Development Company Opens Doors To Angels Investors and Venture Capital Firms

What I Want Podcasting, a leading podcast development company specializing in the commercial application of podcasting, announced this week that they are opening their doors and “ears” to interested investment parties.

(PRWEB) March 9, 2006 -- Podcasting has exploded into what some are now saying is the first true glimpse into the world of Internet Television, in its most infant stages. Podcasting allows for interactivity and personal on demand choices, which is what most of our society is intrigued by, and that is the ability to choose their enjoyment on-demand, and on their terms.

“We have been approached by a number of parties inquiring into potential investment opportunities in our company which we have not pursued up until this point, and we feel it is time to open our doors and ears. With the Podshow founders Ron Bloom and Adam Curry acquiring nearly 10 million in start-up capital, interested parties we have spoken with have expressed a strong desire to get in on the ground floor, and our company is one of the only full-service podcast development firms in the country. We feel like RCA and NBC in the 1920’s trying to organize for the future," says founder and chairman, Ryan Hoback.

The Next Great Tidal Wave in Internet revolution
Venture Capital firms have been investing a lot more start-up capital these days, leaving behind the dirt of the Dotcom past. There has been much discussion into what many experts, as well as Bill Gates are calling, “The Next Great Tidal Wave in Internet revolution”. Major media companies are scrambling to figure out how they are going to adapt and change to the new digital age that we are living in. Jeff Clavier, Founder and Managing Partner of SoftTech Venture Consulting, said “Looking at it from the standpoint of the VCs now, what do we have: a very large market ($27B in ad spending) that has a chance of being disrupted.”

“For us, it is the next logical step” Hoback continues. “Our firm has been pushing the commercialization of podcasting for the past year, while society is just becoming comfortable with the term. Now Fortune 500 companies are contacting us, looking for guidance and consultation services in every area and aspect of podcasting and the digital media phenomenon. We need to be able to service an emerging global industry, and a large influx of investment capital is needed. I can see with great clarity the potential for this this company to go public within 24-60 months, with the right support.”
