Recently Built Plant and 14 Acres Will Be Sold at Auction April 20
80,000-square foot plant 14 acres of land surrounding the facility.
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) March 14, 2006 -- The Eden, N.C., 80,000-square-foot facility that was once home to Natural Care Labs will be sold April 20, 2006 in a live auction beginning at 10 a.m., C.S.T.
The auction will be held onsite at 716 Commerce Dr., but online bidding also is available. The property will be open for inspection on April 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
NCL built the plant in 2003, at a cost of nearly $3 million, and after fewer than three years in operation the company closed the facility and is liquidating its assets.
“This is a first-class facility that is in excellent shape. Locally, there’s a workforce that is hungry for work. I think any growing manufacturing company would do well in this location,” said Jay Brennan, president of Natural Care Labs.
All equipment contained in the plant, which includes liquid-filling machines used for shampoo, baby powder, deodorant and lotion will be included in the auction, along with the 14 acres of land surrounding the facility.
“We have a rather unique facility. It has tremendous possibilities,” Brennan said. “The 80,000-square foot plant can be expanded to 250,000, and all the land has already been graded.”
