The system is being rebranded as ACOM’s RAPID EPM [Enhanced Practice Management solution and is being integrated with ACOM’s RAPID EMR clinical documentation and reporting solution. With the integration, the two products represent a comprehensive, modular front-office/back-office system for health care providers that optimizes processes from patient registration to final payer reports.
Under terms of the transaction, HIS President Wayne Katez and key staff members become part of ACOM’s Healthcare Business Division http://www.acomemr.com , with the division assuming responsibility for support of existing users of the software, Church said.
RAPID EPM features customizable encounter-driven scheduling and billing processes that enable doctors and allied specialties to improve efficiency, reduce accounts receivable days outstanding and manage contracts. Similarly, ACOM’s clinical documentation and reporting] solution facilitates the management of all data relating to patient care, streamlining diagnostic processes and automating SOAP notes and reports to payers, attorneys, referring physicians and other relevant parties.
