PMC Precious Metal Clay Stays Moist Under LiL BeLLA - No More Stress About PMC Drying Out During Production

This two and a half inch red clay bell with a treated liner will keep precious metal clay from drying out while creating jewelry. It is for use during the process. It is not used to store PMC between applications.

Instructions say to open the entire package of precious metal clay and place under bell. Work with only a portion at a time, using only with what is needed. If user runs into a problem during production, they are instructed to just spritz with a light mist of water, roll it up and place back under LiL BeLLA. User is encouraged to then remove a different piece of PMC from under LiL BeLLA and begin again. The resting clay will redistribute the moisture while under the bell.

During the finishing process, or the slip painting process the user is to place the open jar of PMC slip under the LiL BeLLA, lifting only to dip the brush into the slip. The product will remain fresh for hours at a time as long as it is kept covered by the LiL BeLLA.

It is suggested to use more than one LiL BeLLA at a time due to the difference in properties of several PMC products. The clay itself has no visual variation during the wet or pre-fired processes. Since shrinkage rates and kiln firing temperatures do vary, it is necessary to separate the different clays in production.

When finished simply place LiL BeLLA on side to dry mold free for next use. It won't mold because liner is kept dry between uses. The nature of the clay makes it necessary for tools and supplies to be kept clean and dry between use. Mold can be a problem if clay is kept too wet for too long. It is best to return remaining clay to its original plastic wrapper and foil pouch after each session.
